Clinton and "whataboutism"
Watching the media dragging out the “Clinton Both-Sidisms/Whataboutisms” is a perfect example of how false equivalency and the lack of context in ANY-FUCKING-THING has just about destroyed the last vestiges of American Democracy.
Somehow, a consensual affair between two adults is equivalent to “grabbing women by the p##sy”, committing acts of treason, fraud and money-laundering that would make even the Mafia blush.
So, 20 years later, the MSM demands an apology from Bill Clinton. An apology that Clinton has given dozens of times. In fact, you can watch the media claim that “Clinton refused to apologize” as they repeatedly show video tape evidence of him apologizing profusely to everyone, including Monica Lewinsky and her entire family.
Let me ask you something. When have you ever seen the media demand that George Bush apologize to the 5,000 troops families that were killed for a lie? When has the media demanded an apology from Bush and Cheney for the 75,000 troops and their families that have been maimed and disfigured for a lie? How about the 500,000+ Iraqis killed, tortured and maimed for a lie? Has the media ever asked a Retrumplican to “apologize"...FOR ANYTHING?
See, a consensual extra-marital affair is “clearly” the same as the wasted blood and treasure of our nation for a lie!
How about Donnie Shit for Brains? In every interview, is he asked to apologize for the racist lie about President Obama’s birth? Why isn’t that question asked of Sarah 3-Names every stinking day?
Is it because a consensual extra-marital affair between two adults is the same as promoting racism?
What Clinton did was inexcusable, and he DID pay a price for it, but blaming Bill Clinton for Donnnie Short Fingers ascent, is like blaming the Civil Rights Act for racism. Sure, the expanse of equal protection and the destruction of Jim Crow Laws via the Civil Rights Act did result in increased racial animus in this country, but it didn’t create it!
Have the politicians who defended Jim Crow ever been asked to “apologize”?
And let’s just talk for a minute about apologies. Being from Ohio, one of the people I admired was legendary OSU Football Coach Woody Hayes. Unfortunately, most people only remember Woody for the fact that his career was ended when he punched a player from Clemson. That’s a shame, because Woody Hayes, in totality, was a good and decent man who did so much good for so many people. Woody apologized profusely for what he had done. It cost him his legacy. It’s a stain that will be on his reputation forever, something that he recognized and acknowledged.
Finally, after hundreds of public apologies, and repeatedly being asked about it everywhere he went, he stopped apologizing. Not because he didn’t think that what he did was wrong, but because…and I quote; “I realized that the very people that were demanding an apology and contrition from me, were the same people that would never, in a million years, forgive me”.
Bill Clinton, no matter how sincere his apology, no matter how genuinely remorseful, will NEVER gain forgiveness from those demanding it now.
That’s because it’s not about forgiveness, or reconciliation, or resolution, or because they really care about the aggrieved. Their purpose is to continue using the small cinder in one person’s eye, to justify the log in the other person’s eye. Their clutching of pearls and sanctimonious fake outrage is NOT because of what Clinton has done…it’s simply because he exists.
The media can shove their "whataboutism" right up their fucking asses...and if I've offended any member of the media...I sincerely apologize.

continue to do to better our world. Anyone who speaks the first bad word in utterance with regards to them I immediately tune out. Then I stick a mental label on them as idiots or drones.
If I hear it a second time, I'll shut them down on the subject, going fully on the offensive. It shuts them up every time. They have no leg to stand on, just hate for these decent and loving individuals.
