I pay for a static IP, so I can't

I assumed the ISP's DHCP server works as anyone's. I could be wrong

The point is moot as this is obviously a scam

I think ifconfig would work, but I'd have to check

The reply to the scammer could be "Great. I'll type in ipconfig /renew. thank you" and hang up
