All over Sonoma County. Here and there rebuilding is starting, but most people are still arguing with insurance companies, so this will be going on for a very long time. There were 1,100 homes in the area where this video was taken that were destroyed. And, most houses lost were much less grand than these, homes to regular working people.

My husband and I met several couples who had to flee Santa Rosa because of the fires. They were not sure they would have homes to go to. One could see the smoke haze in the sky and smell the burning that was taking place.
