How in the hell can Jim Bakker get away with this shit?

Channel surfing and came across Jim Bakker and decided to linger for awhile. First he is selling some water purification stuff then - AND THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE - it shows him laying out some new type of apartment/condos on some scrub land. Didn't he go to jail for this a few years back. THEN he and another "godly" man who interprets signs praised Trump and then implored and warned that if Republicans (he used that term) aren't elected in the mid-terms and Liberals and Democrats (again exact terms) the nation will be plunged into ungodly times. That is because, you know, liberals are not godly.

Why isn't the IRS looking into taxing this fool who is clearly preaching politics? Why is he being allowed to resurrect his Heritage U.S.A. scheme?

It's called Almost Heaven. A development up in the hills near a little town in Idaho. I like to call it Almost Heavens Gate, after the guys that killed themselves to get on the spaceship.

The idiots that took the cheese thought they would be sovereign citizens living up there with Bo in a compound, never having to pay taxes or follow any laws they didn't believe in.

It evidently wasn't almost heaven enough for Bo. He made his money and packed up and left. Some of the suckers are still up there last I heard.

It was a beautiful hotel and shopping center and there was a lot of construction going on. We only stayed a night I believe on a trip down to FL.

I guess you just can't get the con out of the man.
