Nikki Haley fails to get - any - U.N. support to block Kuwait Condemnation of Israel

.
The United States has voted against a Kuwait-drafted United Nations Security Council resolution calling for the protection of Palestinian civilians, while being the only country to back its own measure condemning Hamas for the recent violence in the Gaza Strip.

I don't think people realize the horrendous damage that Trump and the GOP are doing to this country.

Do you think a democratic congress and presidency will fix it when the whole world will know that in another four years America can break all its treaties and stab all it's allies in the back like Trump did?

We are well and truly fucked and will be isolated and marginalized on the world stage for a generation at least I bet.

This country can no longer be trusted to keep its word on trade, on treaties, on anything as Trump and the GOP have amply proven.

Putin is laughing his ass off in the Kremlin about it 24/7 no doubt.

will be able to totally fix the mess Trump has gotten us in. In the back of the minds of all world leaders will be "What if the Rethugs get back in power?"

They will never view the US as a stable ally to be counted upon again. Johan Galtung a Norwegian Mathematician/Sociologist correctly predicted the fall of the Soviet Union. He has predicted a similar collapse for the US.

A sociologist credited with predicting the fall of the Soviet Union has warned that US global power is in a phase of accelerated decline under the leadership of Donald Trump — and will collapse while the property mogul is the White House.

Norwegian professor Johan Galtung is known as the "founding father" of peace studies as a scientific subject and is recognised for correctly predicting numerous historical events, among them the Tiananmen Square uprising in China and the September 11 attacks.

He attracted controversy in 2000 when he predicted US global power would collapse by 2025.

But under the Bush administration he revised his forecast for the collapse to 2020. Now, he says that reality that is materialising following election of the bombastic billionaire.

Dr Galtung added that the President-elect's critical attitude to Nato also indicated the US would cease to be a superpower.

“The collapse has two faces,” Dr Galtung told the tech news site, “Other countries refuse to be good allies and the USA has to do the killing themselves, by bombing from high altitudes, drones steered by computer from an office, special forces killing all over the place.

"Both are happening today, except for Northern Europe, which supports these wars, for now. That will probably not continue beyond 2020, so I stand by that deadline.”

Israel is doing their best to repeat the evils forced on the Jewish people, by committing them against the Palestinians.

They sit in judgment of Iran for their nuclear ambitions while possessing their own secret arsenal.

All the while receiving $4B annually in aid from the US. More than any other country except Iraq and Afghanistan.

The irony is that the evangelicals supporting Israel want to see it destroyed- but only in their timetable to usher in the end of the world.

The nation has a very long history of illegal and immoral behavior, while using their tragic slaughter in WW2 to justify tragically massacreing people and stealing their land only decades later.

Israel has a right to exist, but it doesn't have the right to ignore international law, kill endless civilians, steal property, murder UN staff, murder US sailors, develop WMDs, etc.

If they were Iran, the US would be using this behavior as evidence of them being a rogue state engaged in terrorism. A nucler armed rogue state, engaged in terror, run by a corrupt extremist.

Aka our biggest ally in the ME.

The Palestinians would have peace if they didnt keep voting for groups who want the total elimination of Israel. As long as they continue doing what DOESNT work, they'll continue to live as they do.
Plenty of the worlds countries work hand in hand with the Israelis, they just dont do it publicly.
Iran has pledged to rid the world of Israel, no wonder Israel would be against Iran getting a nuke. Israel has had one for many years; if they were an offensive threat with them we'd already know it. They see it as security for their survival.

By the way, the US is by FAR the largest donor to the Palestinians & has been for over 20 yrs. if the rest of the world really is so concerned with their plight, maybe they should pony up some cash for them as well? How about all the Arab countries? Its not like THEY'RE poor.

They are/were a useful propaganda tool to use against Israel and the US when they need an issue to redirect their populations anger from their own issues, but beyond that, they simply do not care about the Palistinians. None of the Arab countries want them in their own country. And now with fears of Iran, many of the Arab governments have backdoor relations and agreements with Israel now.

another is that the left in the US is FINALLY learning the truth about Israel and is no longer blindly supporting them, which is how the left in the rest of the world have behaved for many many years.

Only America has a rabidly pro-Israel left-wing party, and maybe that's finally changing, as it should IMO.

Supporting corrupt right-wing criminals as they massacre women and children and steal their land, while all the time making illegal WMDs.... this shouldn't be the ally of the left.

And sure enough, Trump and his allies are radically overhauling US policy to support right-wing terror in the ME... no surprise at all.

The only surprise is how many "liberals" still support Israel.

THEY are the ones who sneak into Israel and blow up buses, restaurants, schools, etc. Randomly stab and shoot people in the streets. Fire rockets DAILY into Israel, then whine when the launch site gets blown to hell.
THEY use civilians as targets. THEY use their children as fodder to get publicity. THEY do shit like THIS:

They will ALWAYS LOSE as long as they continue to do these things. How many times has Israel attacked Saudi Arabia, Jordan or Egypt in recent decades? NONE. Because they were wise enough to make peace. Now they work WITH Israel.

I love watching 'liberals' spin themselves in knots trying to protect right wing criminals.

Come visit me here in Europe and try selling your regurgitated right wing propaganda. You'll be quickly told that thise lies won't fly if you want to be part of a left-wing group. Any left wing group.

Because only in America is murder and theft and illegal manufacture of WMDs considered left wing.

Tell me what the UN staff that Israel bombed did to deserve their fate. How stealing land for decades and then killing those that protest that theft, is moral.

How helping ISIS and al Qaeda fighters in Syria is moral.

You know who else got murdered a lot for breaking unjust laws? Slaves.

You're using the same arguments slave owners did... He broke the law, now let's murder him and his family with snipers, cut off their clean water and access to the outside world, and then blame them for their own deaths.

No matter how many times I see people who claim to be left wing in America support this butchery of women and children and endless theft from and collective punishment of the poor, I can't help but laugh at the depths of brainwashing on display.

Let me put it to you another way: if you think Israel's behavior is justified, you're no better than Trump and his racist policies. You're no better than neo-Nazis running over people in Charlottesville. You're no better than... The US propping up dictators and war criminals.

Save the condescending speech. The EU has its own troubles simmering & its not because of the Jews.

Every time Palestinians have been offered a state, even before WW2, they've rejected it because Israel got one too.

No Arab country ever offers anything to the Palestinians to assist them in GETTING a state. Jordan was recreated at the same time as Israel, maybe THEY could give a small piece of land to help? Nope. Because the Arab states really dont care about them. They know they've had their chances

Israel will still be sitting there 50 yrs from now, and the Palestinians will still be in their self imposed squalor. They chose their fate.

Luckily America is waking up to it and hopefully the left in the US will send people like you back to the right-wing sewer where you get your propaganda from.

Murdering and starving and theft are not liberal values. Trying to justify them by attacking critics as anti-semitic is as old as the hills, and hasn't worked in the rest of the world for decades. America might finally be catching on.
