Here is proof how devoid of reality the titans of finance are from most of the problems of middle-class/poor America. They can't even relate their ideology of greed driven supply and demand to the current economic fraud. Why won't Democrats fill that gap if they intend to win 2018?

(24,324 posts)And SO often when there IS pushback, it is "inside the beltway" givbbereish that goes goes in one ear and out the other.
One reason Stevenson lost.
Dems, well some/many/most/whatever, need to learn how to reach people on a visceral level. THAT is what people react to and remember.
Thousands, me included, remember well Mantle's monster shot that hit the right field upper deck facade in Yankee Stadium. ! I WAS THERE. I will NEVER forget it. I was 19 years old.
Joe Pepitone said he could "hear the boom" when the ball hit the facade. THAT IS TRUE!!!!!
Mantle said it was the only ball he ever hit in which he could feel the bat bend in his hands. !!!!!!
And it was the 2nd time he did it !!!
THAT is what DEMS need to do.. Hit the freakin' upper deck!!
I wasn't there; wouldn't have been as a Bklyn Dodger fan, but I love reading about it!
