5. N Korea's tactics make sense. If you don't have a military

power on a par with the US, Russia, China, and so on you have to think outside the box and what "self defense" tools you might have available. Generating a world class cyber attack group makes sense in that scenario.

And think about it, while they have everyone focused on what their nuclear capability is, they are quietly cyber attacking all over the place with little to no discussion about it in the MSM. N Korea has been playing a sleight of hand game on the world.

Cyber attack capability is most likely a far greater threat then nuclear capability. Cyber attacks are far more sneaky.

National Security Adviser John Bolton has decided to eliminate a top cybersecurity role at the National Security Council, Politico reported Tuesday.

“The role of cyber coordinator will end,” Bolton aide Christine Samuelian told staff Tuesday, according to an email obtained by Politico. Samuelian reportedly said eliminating the position well help “streamline authority” within the NSC.

Why hasn't/haven't our elected officials turned loose the dogs of war. We have a huge black budget that covers all kinds endeavors that we don't need to know about.

It seems to me we have the ability tear up a few other ciber systems along with their economic systems.

What is holding back our minority elected leader and his senate and house party members in acting in our domestic security.

WHAT IS THE G.. D.. problem with these GOP officals (sp)?

OUR NATIONAL SECURITY IS AT STAKE.

There were accounts no cyber defenses are being enacted for the next election despite funding. Those who are predicting big Democratic victories this fall might re-consider. The various states and counties have their own voting systems and private companies own and run them. Factor in the natural Republican tendency to suppress voting, it's no sure thing any major shift will occur. Once a large enough number of voters get it in their head the whole thing is rigged, the concept of elected representative democracy dies. I can see Trump making cyber-deals with North Korea while Putin decides which way to strike on his end. The election may come down to a hacker war, with Trump screaming 'conspiracy', 'deep state', blah-blah if it goes against the GOP. There is anecdotal evidence of vote tallies running backward in the 2000 election. Eighteen years later, our voting systems are that much more pathetic and antiquated. Who will explain some Red states going Blue by 1% with core Blue states going Red by 1%? Net change nada. Won't it be fun if those to be sworn in get sued or shot? Donnie will strengthen his grip on America in the ensuing chaos. "Vote Republican. The other ones don't get counted anyway."
