A few years back, Director Gary Ross made a documentary of life in Trump’s America that starred Jennifer Lawrence and Donald Sutherland. In it, the Republican-held areas had relatively good supplies of money and food, the Democratic-held areas were in abject poverty, and the small guarded area where the GOP elites lived had unbelievable amounts of everything.

The Hunger Games’ Panem is how it really is in North Korea, except they don’t have the games. (Instead, when KJU gets bored he just puts one of his own generals in front of an antiaircraft gun and forces the population of the town the General came from to watch him get disintegrated.) Around Pyongyang, people have everything they want. Out in the countryside, they starve to death.
