Was again putting myself through frustration hell and listening to the Friday news roundup on Diane Rehm on NPR this morning. Caller calls in and hits a home run - the fact that since the day Obama was sworn in, the repubics' stance has been to cause him to fail, which is utter hypocrisy - because if Obama fails, Americans suffer.
All of the pundits chimed in with "of course McConnell and others just stated publicly that which the opposition party always thinks - and that they don't want to harm the people, just win back the presidency".
More moral equivalence - and guess, what, media? - as the politicians play their tricks of obstruction, the American people do get hurt - because them doing what they can to vanquish Obama hurts everyone who is not financially protected - in the bubble.
Maybe politics in this country has always been like this....but whatever we are doing now politically does nothing good for the people that are supposed to be served.
and of course, as usual, I try to call in...but get nothing but busy signals.

I think they are trying too hard to over compensate for the "liberal", phoo-phoo persona the conservatives have painted NPR with over the years...
