Rep. Ryan Costello (R-Pa.) said that he is leaving Congress in part because all he is ever asked about is President Trump, according to CNN.
"No matter what I say or do, I feel all I do is answer questions about Donald Trump rather than health insurance or tax policy," Costello told CNN.

(51,623 posts)We are sick and tired of this 24/7 shit show that YOU and your fellow GOP hypocrites have been enabling. Why didn't you actually do something about him? HUH???????

(5,810 posts)Of him? Or are they asking you as a Congressman what you think and know of this madman? Maybe they believe you have more inside information and can reassure them that he really is not the crazy man he appears to be. Maybe he is not hellbent on getting us all killed in a fiery death from all out nuclear holocaust.
Take a clue, man. If they werent worried about him, they would be bragging to you about him. They would express approval. Not asking questions, you dimwit. They are looking to you for help. Why not give it to them by doing your job and helping rid us of the Orange Menace.

(15,289 posts)Costello is quitting is because the new congressional map in PA made is his district much more favorable to electing a Democrat. His re-election was no sure thing even before the map was re-drawn either.

(129,341 posts)He was one of the ones who called for impeachment of the PA state Supreme Court justices who voted to uphold our state Constitution's requirement regarding redistricting. They were the same ones who redrew the map after the GOP legislative leaders refused to carry out the judge's orders, chose to slow-walk a revised map, and then threw a bullshit version in at the last minute that had no state legislative input.
Good riddance!

(1,822 posts)We see more of him now that he is leaving. Chester County has a ton of active women with the time and means to elect Democrats. Costello was out even before the lines were changed. He spent more time hiding in his office.
