Congressional Medal of Honor

Just watched ceremony I love that coward 45. Went to reach for the medal before ceremony. And the seal mr slabinski pulled it away. Now to me I think what a stud master chief was. His recon element is ambushed on LZ. RPG flying around I think I read they were not only dealing with ak fire and rpg but sov 12.7 51 cal. Fucking sov dushka could even ruin Satan’s day. And the Chief kept it glued together taking out bunkers. Getting to work so that him and his men can live. To me I think what a stud all fine Americans. In my three years in infantry thank goodness it was all peaceful.

I served with some fine warriors my first platoon sgt. Was awarded a silver star I can’t remember his actions to receive silver star, it was 84 when I met him in 325 th infantry . But he was in Vietnam a Young corporal I think it was 1970 he said. He to me as a young trooper I would have followed sfc into anyplace he was a warrior a intelligent leader. Who left school in tenth grade from Appalachia to go to work. I remember one morning after PT he gathered up me and several other young Pfc. and informed us that we will be attending the EIB program EXPERT INFANTRY BADGE course. Why because he was a leader and cared for us all. And to quote him no ass and trash in my platoon you will always go above and beyond. Nco backbone of infantry thank goodness for these fine Americans. Sadly Chief was awarded his CMH by a pos.

but I'd have loved to have met your friend. My ex was 2-tour Viet Nam; his brother 5th special forces. Me? Little AFC........... and a damn good secretary..............

The young man in the CMH video? THAT is a patriot. Unlike Sir Bone-Spur 5-Deferment pResident!

1966 - 1968 for my ex, 1964 - 1967 for my bro-in-love.

Yeah, pretty good guys. Alabama born & bred - and HATED Jeff Sessions/George Wallace/Bull Connor, even though their daddy had been a sheriff and they had a Grand Dragon in the family on the mom side.

PTSD heavily for both; my bro-in-love died a few years ago, attributed to Agent Orange. My ex is in sorta-ok health, and Birmingham has the BEST VA hospital/docs/PA's etc. - beats out Walter Reed every time (also have a niece who is a PA there!)

That was it sfc was a friend but a leader. I would have followed we all would have followed sfc. He used to have a saying he would tell us men there are those that can and do and that is us. and then we have those who think they can and can’t and that is the dumb fucks running the show.

I had a sfc that I'd have followed into hell. Of course, we weren't, as "girls" allowed combat training, but get this giggle - I'm fairly tall, but had been in gymnastics and dance for years.

The absolute MOST fun I had? The Wall (over it, under it, around it) and the barbed-wire live fire combat zone stuff.

We were all young once - this was like video games to kids now. We didn't have to put up with crazy religious bullshit, and even got some breaks after "graduating" from basic - like San Antonio is THERE. The River Walk............... also best Tex-Mex and authentic Mex EVER...............

TEB, we have no leader - and they call him Commander in Chief........

........ So, how did those deferments and bone spurs work out for you, you FUCKING WIMP PSYCHOPATHIC NARCISSIST...........

Sorry TEB, not aimed at you - yeah, I was USAF and served with some of the best guys/gals ever - and got to ride in some jet trainers clandestinely!

The way that Trump treats our Military, I personally don't believe he should be the one giving any such medal. I believe it would be more of an honor to receive it from someone who appreciates our Military. All he does is p.r. stunts and being a showman. The idiot has no respect for the bravery, courage, and selflessness that these servicemen and servicewomen have mustered. He doesn't deserve to be called Commander in Chief. Rant over.

Enjoy your weekend with the family and pets.

I am, as well - born in Coral Gables, FL, to parents who were 1st generation Irish. Dad was born here; mom's folks missed the count by 5 years.

What about that VOTE!!!!!!!!!! I'm stoked.
