GOP Believes It Is Untouchable Regardless Of Their Malfeasance. We Must Prove Them Wrong.

Our last hope may be in November. This election looks like one of our last chances to start righting the ship. The GOP continues to operate like they cannot be held accountable.

1. Russia to GOP: "Stay strong. We got this."

GOP only wins when they cheat.

2. The GOP doesn't believe its untouchable....

They are all in on the Trump administration's corruption because they are tainted by it as well,
and if the truth gets out, they are done as a national party for a generation. They are desperate
and circling the wagons fearing the political slaughter that's coming.

The only thing that matters now is loading up the Federal bench and stacking the Supreme Court
so they can play defense for 50 years.

They are literally going into "Scorched Earth" mode and salting the soil (Politically and economically) so
nothing grows after they are gone

Why hasn't McConnell gone nuclear and killed the Filibuster? Because he knows he could need it next year
and all most certainly after 2020. Besides the only thing that really matters to the GOP is their tax scams
and they ramrodded that through.

They want the next Democratic President and Congress to be faced with a wrecked Federal Government
and a nation drowning in debt. When those Dems propose major tax increases on the corporations and
the wealthy to battle this, they will be faced with GOP Federal Judges and Supreme Court rulings striking
down these reforms and a GOP Senate filibustering like a mutha...... as they scream about Democrats needing
to reach across the aisle and that they don't respect the rights of the minority party. All the while, GOP loudmouths
in the House will cry about Deficit spending and why the Democrats hadn't fixed things on day one.

I could even see the GOP giving the incoming Democratic President the "gift" of cleaning up another war
that generates more debt, and they will scream bloody murder and he/she "Lost the xxxx war" that Trump
had all but won but for Democrats stabbing the military in the back to finance illegal aliens and "Lazy" welfare
recipients for their votes.

3. NO T H E Y AREN'T

This is the party that lied this country into Iraq, and left the economy in flames. And then in all of its Infinite Wisdom, the country gave them the biggest midterm win in our lives after only 4 years of democratic control of Congress comma because we had the temerity to pass their goddamn version of healthcare reform.

And the assholes they put in the office where the biggest raging tea party loons the country has seen.

I'm just saying where to be lucky if this country hold them accountable for this mess at all.

That said I do agree this November is the last stand.

4. November is not the last stand.

It is only the beginning. And, we may not get everything we want. We will make inroads, but victory is not assured. They will lie, cheat steal and do everything in their power to steal every election they can in November.

5. Functionally it is absolutely the last stand

and, honestly, even if "we" win big, it still might be.

The slide into fascism went from slow to hyperdrive with the election of 45 - if we don't get at least one chamber of congress, the Rs will view that as complete validation of what they have done up that point, and all bets are off ...
