George Conway just retweeted this:

@carriecordero

The Department of Justice doesn't open investigations for political purposes, which is what the president says today he will order tomorrow. There are rules. And I'm convinced there are people left in this government who will follow them.

The man and his campaign are
being investigated for very very
serious crimes against our country
and it's laws .He should not be commenting on an on going
investigation nor tolerated
to continue his campaign of obstruction.

At this point this doesn't even have much to do with Trump anymore. When a criminal gets caught of course he fights, obstructs justice, tries to stop getting arrested. The issue here is a party willing to back up his actions. They only surrender quietly when no one backs them up

The man is batshit crazy. I hope it never sinks into his empty head that Mueller could be looking at charges as serious as treason. If that ever sinks in, he'll probably stage a bona fide coup.

... are likewise crazy, because they not only sanction this, they help bring it on. The Wall Street Journal's op ed page for instance is peddling the idea Justice and FBI have something to hide. Nunes is peddling it. Other House Repubs are peddling it. Many more just sit on their hands and wait for a break that goes their way, irrespective of the impact on the nation's governance. At best most of them are closet Trumpies, because he's their SOB, and like him they'll do anything to stay in power -- some with more fervor than others.

He has no idea how our constitutional government works.
He thinks being president is like being the "boss" on his fake 'reality' show.

I know, there's James Carvel and Mary Madeline.

But neither worked in a Trump White House.

Neither George Bush or Bill Clinton are that small, and Twitter wasn't invented yet.

But this is strange.

Not to make trump supporters upset and they make up most republicans but still be seen as serious types. Especially if a Democrat gets into office and there are legal disputes.

Those people aren't Republicans, which is what we need if we're to stop this petulant child from further destroying our government and country. They just will not do it!. They no longer work to protect and defend the people of the United States, they work to protect and defend Donald Trump. Only.
