(34,661 posts)Yes we do have a couple of hard charging News Hounds,and in saying that,in these last few months,it has been Private Citizens or their Attorneys who have been breaking news stories. Pulitzer's have been duly given to the deserving.
I do know the Fake from the real.

As for Dr. Maddow, she cites her sources scrupulously, like the good scholar she is, and there are many.
