Not that I like her but her fucking husband wasn't even there when she had surgery
The 48-year-old first lady "underwent an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition" on Monday, a statement from her office said.
"The procedure was successful and there were no complications," the White House said.
When asked how the first lady is feeling, a spokeswoman told ITK Trump "is doing well."
President Trump
later tweeted that he was on his way to visit her in the hospital and that she was in "good spirits."

(15,552 posts)Thousands of people in this country have surgeries for various things every single day. Hers isn't serious so big yawn. It's not like she's a beloved First Lady or anything or has done anything whatsoever for this country. I had a benign tumor removed and was patched up and shipped out the same day, but then again I only have Medicare.

(31,997 posts)wouldn't you want your spouse to be there before, during and after surgery?
Mine would be there.
Had a 5 day stay to Crohn's complications in Jan. My spouse slept in room with me, went to work, went home to change clothes, shower and let the dog out and was then right back with me!

(90,787 posts)Most people are out of the hospital in 24 hours after an appendectomy, but I was in for 5 days. I actually almost died.
People can die of "benign" brain tumors -- a college roomie of mine did; she wasn't even 30. It wasn't cancer, but it kept growing despite surgery.
We are not being told what the deal was with her kidney, but it's serious enough that she is being kept 4 days. Not that she is at death's door -- just that it was a serious matter. The "embolization" wouldn't have been for a stone ( which is painful as hell, just ask my BIL), but maybe she was peeing a lot of bright red blood.
Her husband is a pig. That's not really her fault.
We don't have to like her to be humane enough to wish her a speedy recovery. Our reactions to her illness say more about us than they do about her, regardless.
