In my Inbox this morning

An ad from an organization called US Concealed Online, promising me that I can qualify - online - to legally carry, all in under 30 minutes. Honored in over 70% of all US states! And, it's free!

Gosh, that makes me feel so much better that we have these stringent requirements to carry a loaded weapon around.

I googled them and it’s not free.
I see $65 to $100 mentioned,
plus $9 a month for their "publication" which apparently people have been unable to cancel,
so they keep getting it charged to their credit card each month.

What you get is an online class and then :
“... a certificate of completion which can be used to seek (apply for)
a Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit with the state of Virginia”
which maybe other states might honor.
