Trump tries to clean up the mess on Twitter from Rudy Giuliani's self-immolation on Hannity

President Donald Trump tried to clean up the mess from Rudy Giuliani’s self-immolation on Fox News in a series of Thursday morning tweets.

Giuliani, who joined Trump’s legal team last month, admitted to Fox News host Sean Hannity that the president had repaid $130,000 to longtime attorney Michael Cohen for a hush money payout to porn actress Stormy Daniels.

“These agreements are,” he added, “very common among celebrities and people of wealth. In this case it is in full force and effect and will be used in Arbitration for damages against Ms. Clifford (Daniels). The agreement was used to stop the false and extortionist accusations made by her about an affair.”

“Despite already having signed a detailed letter admitting that there was no affair,” the president continued. “Prior to its violation by Ms. Clifford and her attorney, this was a private agreement. Money from the campaign, or campaign contributions, played no roll in this transaction.”

Whoever composed this one knows the English language and punctuation. I'm sure Don will weigh in after he stews for a couple of hours watching Faux during "Executive Time."

The Con and noun, verb 9/11 both know that the files seized by NY will show the money trail for the $130,000 so they had to get that out in public and quickly. Npw they're 'ROLING' in lies.

So we've gone from the "I didn't know anything about it" excuse to "Yes we paid him, and you'd understand if you were more famous and weren't so poor" excuse. This should work out well Donnie.

This is why it sucks that judge delayed the trial for 90 days. Now Trump gets to lie for 90 days.
