What Giuliani is trying to do is save TRUMP’S ORANGE ASS & Michael Cohen’s too...At least in terms of the Stormy Daniels case. I could mistaken or not describing the law correctly but if there are any lawyer’s lurking here on DU who can explain it better, PLEASE DO!

So, if Cohen pays Stormy $130K with his own money to keep her quiet during election then Cohen could be guilty of campaign finance crimes...However, if Trump were to pay him back then there would be no law broken because candidates are not limited in what they can spend on their own campaigns. And to go a step further Giuliani is saying & expecting us to believe that Cohen paid a porn star $130K out of his own money & then billed Trump Co. who cut him a check without Trump knowing!?!?

When this Stormy thing first started long before Cohen’s shit got raided by the FBI a couple of the podcast I listen to that are centered around legal matters in current events like Preet Bharara & Lawfare’s podcast…They we’re saying way back then Cohen & his arrogant ignorance of the law is going to open him up to potentially breaking various campaign finance laws! Cohen was screaming to everyone it was his $130K & Trump never knew or paid him back...Which was clearly the worst possible this Cohen could’ve done!
