She has managed to get everyone talking about just about everything. That is what a great political comic does. And she did it in spades.
Good for her. We needed to be stirred up.

(2,004 posts)Michelle Wolf is absolutely brilliant. My favorite jokes were the call and response "How broke is he?...." She outed the Washington press corps' collaboration, corruption and enabling of fascism and corruption. They were shocked to be revealed for what they are doing.
The fact that people like Chris Cillizza, Mika and Maggie Haberman are calling Michelle a bully show just how out of touch they really are. They are using the word "bully" completely incorrectly. which falls in line with the tenets of propaganda straight from Goebbels. Tell a lie often enough and people will believe it. Cillizza, Mika, Joe, Milbank and Haberman etc..are all collaborators, not journalists.
I have edited to include the correct Goebbels quote:
If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State."

(17,235 posts)Michelle Wolf did a great job and if the thin skinned redumbliCONs can't take a joke; we have to put up with their joke of a president, his family, his cabinet and administration everyday for more than a year. Get over it whiners?

Infotainment.
And to think of all the bad crap Trump has done his entire life YOU IGNORED 100% while you were crying "Hillary Emails" every second of every day like you were on some kind of witch hunt.
Our media as a whole sucks as bad as Republicans, and their god Trump.

As uncomfortable as possible, as often as possible, for as long as it takes.

(739 posts)if I get any more "stirred up" my head is going to explode. I'd never heard of Michelle Wolf but I love how she stuck it to all the right people. As the trumpers said "She said what we're all thinking.". Good on her!

(2,091 posts)Andrea Mitchell, the NBC News correspondent, tweeted that an apology is owed to the press secretary. Her network colleague Mika Brzezinski wrote that watching a wife and mother be humiliated on national television for her looks is deplorable.
Several reporters who cover the White House approached Ms. Sanders in the Hilton ballroom to express sympathy in the immediate aftermath of Ms. Wolfs monologue. Later, at a windswept after party hosted by NBC News, Ms. Sanders appeared in good spirits as reporters swarmed her. (She even took time to chastise one journalist for asking a question at a news conference that she disliked.)
Late on Sunday, Margaret Talev, president of the Correspondents Association, issued a statement acknowledging dismay from members about Ms. Wolfs performance.
Last nights program was meant to offer a unifying message about our common commitment to a vigorous and free press, Ms. Talev wrote. Unfortunately, the entertainers monologue was not in the spirit of that mission.

They hired her and she just did what she does. Surprise.
There a lot of really good female stand up comedians out and about right now. They are really funny. And really honest. We need to support them.

The fact that a good chunk of them are Christians is beyond the pale! I hold both the congregations and the pastors responsible for allowing this to continue.
If that huge part of his base had spoken out and said stop this or we will withhold our votes they would have.
But knowing they got them with the abortion votes they dont care and will do or say anything.
