It’s been basically accepted that once-beloved comedian Dennis Miller went through a serious personality change on 9/11, and that he’s been a bit of a reactionary since.

He became so enraged by the attack on the World Trade Centers that he literally could not talk.

I have no idea why he ever gained any fame. I never thought he was funny even when he was supposedly a liberal. I suspect that during his SNL days, most of his material was written by someone else as his delivery always seemed off and too rehearsed. The best thing he had going for him was he could act like an asshole, the reason being he didn't have to act.
