What happened to the tree?

The tree given by Macron to the USA as a gesture of good will and a remembrance of French//USA shared history... Trump used it as a photo op....and it has already disappeared.

Anyone want to bet it was removed because of Macron's speech?

8. If a tree had been planted in that spot recently wouldn't the disturbed soil be showing?

Not dried up grass. Is that positively the spot where the tree was?
