Avid hunter Don Jr. — whom sources say has lobbied his father, President Donald Trump, to ignore calls for gun control — has celebrated becoming a single man by getting a permit to carry a concealed gun in Pennsylvania, we’re told.

Sources say that Don Jr. recently applied for a permit to carry a concealed weapon in Lackawanna County.

Don Jr. has a longstanding permit in New York to keep a handgun at his home, but that permit is not recognized in Pennsylvania.

Don Jr., whose favorite pastime is killing big game and posing for pictures with the carcasses, and his brother Eric last year bought a 171-acre hunting preserve in upstate New York that they use as their private shooting range for the use of their long-range weapons.

Residents of the tranquil hamlet of Wingdale, NY, have told the Associated Press that the area “sounds like a war zone” on weekends because of the sound of rifle fire from a wooden tower and noisy explosions. .....................
