and her voice could curdle gin. She's just throwing out insults, and not clever ones.

And some of the lines are good, but some seem really inappropriate for this event (vs. a late night Comedy Store type of performance).

Colbert had some biting but funny satire; this is just crass and gross.

Call my old-fashioned, but I think her jokes are too inappropriate for a black tie event.

on the way over in the car. How unprofessional. Note to future comedians; jokes about aborted babies are never comedy material. Next time try your material out on your own mother first; if she gasps, leave that joke on the cutting floor.

I really feel sorry for the woman who was in charge of the program. She seemed disappointed at the end and rightfully so. Their cause is a noble one and I'm sure that they worked hard on this dinner for most of the year. Now the P'grabber will feel vindicated in blowing off for the past two years what has been a long tradition where reporters, politicians, and celebrities could get together for a worthy cause and laugh at one another, without taking themselves too serious. For the record, I thought that the comedians from the last two WHCD were very funny. I guess the guys have been at it longer and know how to strike the right tone without having to be vulgar. We just might have seen the last WHCD until Trump is out of the White House. That's too bad.

has been a good thing for this nation in the last 70 years. It was particularly galling during the Dubya administration when the Fourth Estate's lickspittle approach to Dubya's transparently falsified rush to war was a surrender of their duties to the nation.

What gives?! That was the best 20-30 minutes of TV I’ve seen in years. She cut Trump to his knees.

Was it the 'best 20-30 minutes' on TV because she attacked someone you didn't like? That's a pretty low standard for a comic.

I suspect that’s what they’re really mad about. Personally I loved the joke. These scum deserve the most brutal crude humor possible.

racist, mysoginist, hypocrite that spews hate propaganda and lies about non white, nonChristian, lgbt, immigrants, refugees and women..well everyone really; thos very same persons (trumpf, gop) that implement and support policies that hurt every American; the poor, sick, disabled, and elderly while they stuff their pockets with money that they stole from the American taxpayer, then disguised it as a tax cut.

I've read in other online news/chats/tweets and on some du threads that MIchelle Wolf was was crude, crass, vulgar and offensive. That it wasn"t the right venue for such crassness, vulgarity, yet the presidency is? We have a vulgar sexual predator a 'monster' (wolf's apt description of trumpf) in the white house. It sure as hell was the right time and place!

So NO. NO SHE WASN'T offensive, rude or vulgar (sorry didn't mean to shout) trumpf is offensive and, vulgar, pence is offensive and vulgar, the gop is offensive and vulgar ..with their racist, bigoted, hateful and hurtful propaganda and policies. (insert: the wealthiset American oligarchs/corporations --theyre offensive and vulgar as well. They hord their wealth, pay low wages, cut health care and pensions of working Americans ) Wolf made people feel uncomfortable? Good! Anyone need a mirror?

Trump's speech at his rally was more debasing and vulgar, even though he didn't use the "f"bombs or use the "p" word.

She warned them: "I guess you should have researched me more?"

Deplorables can't be snowflakes.

Look at what they are willing to accept up 'til now.

At what point do we wish to stop "free speech"?

Why do we find it offensive?
