Thank you for visiting my webpage. I am running for State Senate in Legislative District 20 (LD20) as a
clean elections candidate. I believe that it is important that I am beholden to you, the members of our
community. I will put the focus back to where it truly matters, that is you. For too long, everyday
Arizonans have been ignored and silenced by our legislature.
Another way to have a positive effect on marginalized families was to change the framework of policies
that dictate the resources allocated for this majority. By reinvesting in our education system, Promoting the importance of healthy families and advocating for an equitable economy for all. I want to become not only a voice of reason but also a megaphone for everyone within our community. I know that I do not have all the answers but thats where you come in. I want to work together with you building bridges and empowering you, ensuring your voice is heard. Working together as a community is
the only way that we can truly create change.
I will work to give a voice back to those that have been marginalized by reinvesting in our education
system; not just K-12 but also focusing on higher education, promoting healthy families, and creating
economic equality for all not just the few. I am ready for this challenge, but it cant be completed without
you.
I was raised by a single mother for a majority of my childhood she demonstrated what it meant to
work hard and she reminded me and my brothers of the importance of getting an education. As Ive
grown I have come to learn that my experience was not unique. That every day, there are numerous
families in this situation with their own unique experience and story to tell. My experience instilled in
me a passion to help those that were often left in the margins of our communities. I realized this passion
early on and had the opportunity to work with families and individuals with disabilities during high
school and through college.
I began working within the non-profit sector. During that time I had a chance to support families that
relied on resources from not only organizations like the one I worked for but also from the education
system and the state. Many of these families were usually in need of more support from the institutions around them but were often not given the tools or resources to become self-supporting.

Arizona is a fucking weird state. I moved here from Utah. I knew it was a Republican state, but I assumed it'd be a moderate Republican state, you know, Barry Goldwater Republican. Nope. I've found it nearly as conservative as Utah.
Registered Republicans outnumber registered Democrats, but it's worse than that. There are nearly as many registered independents as registered Republicans, but this is one of those states where "independent" really means "Republican, but too embarrassed to just admit you're Republican." When I speak with Republicans and these "independents" they usually self identify as moderately conservative, and then they go and elect some of the hardest right Republicans you've ever seen.
