9. Well back during the 2008 primary I was supporting Hillary and

I was a big watcher of MSNBC. Chris Matthews aka Tweety got a tingle up his leg and went on a rabid mysoginistic Hillary bashing binge.. I came to the conclusion that he is an @$$hole and I haven't watched him since.

This go around I supported Bernie in the primary and of course Hillary in the general. I dropped cable about 3 years ago and rarely catch MSNBC unless someone provides a link. So my familiarity with Joy Reid is not great and I'm I'm not passionate about her one way or the other.

However I am aware of her negativity towards Bernie Sanders and his supporters and conversely her efforts against trump and the GOP. Add her admission of having made homophobic comments in the past. So by my usual metrics I would lump her in the @$$hole category with tweety and probably would stop watching her. Not an issue because I dont watch her now.

However, let's see how it pans out.

So you are calling her an asshole even though you are admittedly ignorant of her work. She's the strongest voice for progressives on television outside maybe Maddow. Objectively speaking she didn't have "negativity towards Sanders and his supporters," rather she was perceived by them as such and thats why she's being crucified here now, because the personality is more important than the issues to these so called progressives.

I've never watched her, but I've seen from posts and articles that she's known as a supporter of Democrats.

The Democrats don't need a media supporter the GOPers can attack. Period.

As for the blog controversy - I don't understand most of it, but it doesn't really matter at this point what did/didn't happen. FOX news itself is 'reporting' the controversy. Game over

attention to whatever it is that people are acusing her of. She is doing a great job now which has made her a target of the far right. I have no interest in piling on her and being part of any movement that is meant to drive her off the air.
