The whole southside of Metro Atlanta has been attracting a well educated middle class non-white demographic for decades. The county went somewhere around 30% for Obama in 2008 but about 40% went for Clinton in 2016. Diversity in the county commissioners has grown as well.

I'm glad to see this. Hopefully metro Atlanta will pave the way for changes across the south....

Frustratingly slow but in the right direction in changing a false narrative and a harrowing legacy.
