I think James Comey's book, A Higher Loyalty, will be a significant historical document.

Because it is the first undefined version of the Trump presidency, and written before partisans compromise on the real meaning of these times.

In my opinion, he showed great courage in writing the book. Even though he has been attacked by both sides, he has given a picture of Donald Trump that should concern every thinking American. It is a warning about where we are and where we are going.

I think he has shown himself to be a patriotic American. Even though there are those that will forever believe he caused Hillary Clinton to lose the election, his message is more important than the argument for Hillary Clinton, in my opinion.

In the future analysis, it will be shown that the American media were more to blame for the rise of Trumpism than any one person or any one candidate. They took their eyes off a dangerous threat to our democracy in order to push ratings and to make money. In the end, it was the media that put us in the situation we find ourselves today, in my opinion.
