FLIPPABLE: Liz Hanbridge for PA-HD61

As a business owner and child advocate, Liz is a proven fighter for families and children. Shortly after law school, she began her own practice in Montgomery County serving families, small businesses and non-profits, and began devoting significant pro bono time to fighting for families and children in our community. Liz spends a majority of her professional time to being a child advocate and court-appointed guardian for children in the Montgomery County working with the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project. She works with police, the Office of Children and Youth, parents, as well as judges and lawyers to help protect families and children.

Liz is running for State Representative because she believes that now, more than ever, the 61st district needs a new voice in Harrisburg. For too long, career politicians in Harrisburg have ignored their constituents, while Liz has spent her career working with the families and children most harmed by Harrisburg’s apathy.

Liz sits on the Board of Trustees of Foxcroft School in Middleburg, Virginia. Liz attended University of Pennsylvania for her undergraduate degree, Oxford and Harvard Universities for graduate degrees and University of Wisconsin for her J.D. Liz recently completed a fellowship with the New Leader's Council and hope to facilitate the extension of the program into Montgomery County to help young progressives with their professional development.

Liz has two rescue dogs and lives on a farm near Montgomery County Community College. A lifelong love of horseback riding has her doing farm chores every morning before starting her work day. Liz's family moved to Blue Bell in 2001 while she was at Penn and she immediately fell in love with the area. Liz is also a democratic committee woman.
