..especially in a deep Red State like ND.
She needs to step so carefully just to hold her re-election seat for the coming Blue wave.

She is no doubt banking on her Dem colleagues in Pompeo not being nominated.

one of them so either they know the GOP have the votes and let her vote for Pompeo to help her electorally or they know the GOP doesn't have the votes and let her vote for Pompeo to help her electorally.

She is between a rock and hard place. She is in a state that went for trump by just over 35 points, and as of the last polling I saw from back in february/march, his approval is still over 50% in her state. She barely won in 2012 by 1%. She needs to do whatever she can to be reelected.
