That word has strong MRA and Alt Right roots. Why on earth would you use it here?

Urban Dictionary: cucked
https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=cucked
Synonymous with "cuckolded." One whose wife has had sexual relations with another man (in modern use, often with the husband's approval) has been cucked.

Because he doesn't have the balls to quit?

Because he signed up to work for Pres. Pieceofshit?

Because he lied, through his teeth, in detail, in the course of going out of his way to smear a Democratic member of Congress?

It's a deeply misogynist term, and as such is offensive to women and people who champion women -- which ought to include DUers. It has no place here, and no place describing Kelly, despite his many flaws (one of which is HIS misogyny, together with his rampant, virulent racism).

To me, anyone who brings this word to DU is signalling that they hang out with MRA types and/or in Alt Right circles. Most DUers wouldn't even think of the term, let alone use it.

cuck.

It's just such a misogynist term, and seeing it used here is disgusting.

aimed at sinking Kelly authority in the West Wing. Trump is too much the spineless coward to tell the man he's fired face to face, so he'll make these little potshots to embarrass him and force him to hand in his own resignation..

He can't survive the loss of face in the backstabbing, dog eat dog chaos of Trump's White House. The countdown clock is lit and Kelley's days are numbered.

It's what he does. He records it and plays it back to the unfortunate target. But Kelly's wife is age appropriate so he probably didn't try.

Why anyone would ever voluntarily be near Trump is beyond me. I would be throwing up just looking at him.
