In other words...will he and Comrade Trump end up sharing a prison cell?
The report also is expected to address whether active and retired FBI agents in New York leaked information about investigations of the Clinton Foundation charitable organization and the discovery of a trove of Clinton-related emails.
Law enforcement officials previously told Reuters the information was leaked to former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, an adviser to the Trump campaign who subsequently discussed the contents on Fox News.

(33,643 posts)what he learned on Fox News. Unless it can shown to have been highly classified info ... and that he had reason to think that it was ... which I doubt is the case.

(33,643 posts)Was officially 'classified info' he could not legally divulge? I rather doubt anyone would bother trying, sadly.
Also I'd imagine if you check the details of what he said on Fox or whatever, you'd find he was just 'coy enough' to avoid prosecution even if it was 'classified material'. Dude's a lawyer and not a dumb cat, I doubt he's dumb enough to expose himself to prosecution just to blab to Fox.

(6,709 posts)I assume he's been quiet out of caution, and am surprised he is poking his head up now, but I doubt if there is anything indictable anyway.

(61,695 posts)guilty too? Will trump claim poor representation vecause Rudy belongs in prison, also?
Me.
(35,454 posts)because Rudi hasn't been his lawyer before now. However, Comrade Trump has had what is now recognized as the worst so-called legal rep ever in Cohen but I don't think that can form a defense either because they were most likely conspirators.

(14,047 posts)If he lies, then he could be charged. If he tells the truth, some Trumpers in the FBI should be the next subject of an IG investigation.

(3,335 posts)Trump and Comey have exchanged harsh criticism in the past week. Trump called Comey a slime ball. Comey called Trump an unethical liar who is morally unfit to be president. Oh Comey, you're so sexy when you talk dirty.

(508 posts)Of course Ghoulianni is in line to be investigated.
Watch this video as Trump explains why he gives money to politicians and ask yourself; how much would he have given to New York City Mayor Ghoulianni and what did he get for his money?

(11,257 posts)He's sleazy as hell, so it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.
Me.
(35,454 posts)It's about his time to 'be in the barrel' too. His was a sleazy admin in NYC to the point when just after 9/11 he was pushing for a 3rd term saying he wanted to see it through and the people of the city said no.

Pass that around to all your conservative acquaintances.

(6,916 posts)The NY FBI office leak stuff was out in NOVEMBER 2016!!!!!!!!

The willingness of some agents to break with FBI policies about discussing open investigations in the run-up to an election has been evident for days. The first leak came over the weekend, when unnamed sources told the Wall Street Journal about a bitter power struggle between agents in the FBIs New York office who have been probing the Clinton Foundation and career prosecutors in Washington charged with deciding whether to bring a case.
