I need both hips replaced (I have ZERO hip joint function) and my knees grow worse daily. Being told, for now anyway, that surgery is too risky.

I hope you come back better than ever, and do everything you thought about doing again, when you couldn't!

It's the simple things for me...I REALLY miss my bathtub!

surgery I have ever had. I can actually walk again. If you can't, then I send you good thoughts of pain free days.

I'll have to do both at once, if I ever get the green light. Having no functional hip joints makes it pretty much impossible to properly rehab one side at a time. So, for now,I am severely under-medicated, due to all the crazy opioid foolishness, and working on everything else I can think of, to get strong enough, and healthy enough to lessen the risk.

Thank you for the good energy, it helps! I hope you are doing all the things you couldn't before!

What kind of insurance do you have? The doctor who replaced my hip uses minimally invasive. He does not cut the muscle and merely moves it to the side. The recovery time is so short. Come to Arkansas and I'll keep you at my house for the first week after you leave the hospital if you don't live close by. I can't recommend him enough. He has about a 99% success rate -- meaning that the hip functions properly and THERE IS NO PAIN !
