Who will Trump fire today?

If he is going to fire someone, he would do it sooner, rather than later. Because he is impetuous and revengeful by his nature.

We could expect to see him call in Mitch McConnell for a strategy session. He needs to know if it is possible for him to get away with firing Mueller or someone that monitors Mueller's investigation?

Few doubt that he wants revenge and he wants it now. He is not happy with what has transpired. He will not sit back and wait for the next shoe to drop. He will go on the offensive. That, also, is part of his nature. All the while, he will be preaching to his cult and dividing the people of this country.

1. Mueller.

Either directly or thru Rosenstien or even Sessions. I would be surprised if this does not happen with in the next 48-72hrs. My guess...late Friday afternoon. Then republicans are going to have make a choice. They have been clear in their support for Mueller but once trump fires him will they pick party first or country...

He would probably have to fire Sessions or Rosenstein first?

7. Trump cannot fire Mueller directly

Either Rosenstien or Sessions would have to do it. If Sessions does it that will raise all kinds of issues sense he supposedly rescued himself from the Russia investigation and I don't think Rosenstien will do it. So my guess is Trump will fire both Sessions and Rosenstein first and whoever steps into the attorney general position through the vacancies act will be expected to fire Mueller by Trump and if that person refuses rinse and repeat.

That opens all kinds of opportunities to interfere with the investigation.

His primary concern is political. How will it affect him with his base?

He would lose overwhelming support of independents though, and there what got him elected. But his base has been begging him to fired Sessions and Mueller for months.
