Valerie. I always thought it was funny that her name was Valerie. Not sure why?

Princess Bride is my all time favourite movie

Goldman's book is almost as good, particularly the audiobook read by Rob Reiner.

as if our fall from world power was not happening fast enough

i remember the old airline commercial where the president of the company says at a meeting that a big customer did not feel they knew the company anymore...the president of the company then started handing out airline tickets to reengage with its customers.....seemed like a good idea then...still a good idea now.

vacuums are not normal and they tend to get filed....we may not be happy with what fills them
