A common talking point on the right today is that DJT was "duly elected".

Well, guess what. Nixon was "duly elected", and he was a criminal.

Whenever someone says "duly elected" to you, you can just say

"Another GOP criminal president, Nixon, WAS duly elected. And he was impeached for crimes too, just like this one will be."

Not to mention, this president BARELY won, with a lot of help from the Russians. And he lost the popular vote.




If you want to decode the propaganda coming from the right, it's always good to re-read this article from Buchwald in 1973. Because conservatives said the same stuff back then.

He resigned before it could get that far.
