The difference in the way Bill Clinton handled Starr and Trump handled Mueller...

The difference in the way Bill Clinton handled Starr and Trump is handling Mueller is like the proverbial difference between night and day. He never whined, he never blamed Starr for tanking the stock market, and he never said the investigation was distracting him from his job or handling crises such as Serbia. He might have tried to outsmart law enforcement but he never attacked it nor tried to undermine and discredit it.

His mantra during the Lewinsky brouhaha was I'm going to do the work the American people elected me to do.

Trump is such a putz. There is nothing remotely valiant or powerful about him. He is a weak person's idea of a tough guy.

I will admit to not knowing anybody as allegedly rich as Trump but I know real estate developers with mid nine figure portfolios. They are nothing like Trump.

Personally, I'm a simple guy. But through my profession, I've had dealings with some remarkably successful people. They have been artists, composers, songwriters, builders, professors, business people, producers and many others. They have made lots of money, been accorded many professional accolades and awards, have been recognized beyond their fields and made an impact on our society.

None of them act like Trump.

By the way, Trump ain't rich. It's a sham and you know it!

better than Trump. He was making decisions about the Vietnam War and other issues every day. They were not decisions many of us liked, but at least he was managing things in a way that did not seem to be influenced by the fact that he and other members of his administration were under investigation. Nixon was an unmitigated douche, for sure, but he wasn't such a completely unhinged narcissist that he couldn't keep doing his job instead of ranting insanely on TV about how unfairly he was treated.

First of all Mueller referred it and second of all Starr was appointed to investigate Whitewater and ended up investigating consenual oral sex.

not a crime. They could not get him on any of the other 999 things they investigated him on and had to get him on lying about consensual sex. Trump wished that he had Bill Clinton's lying about consensual sex problem.

Trump has no concept of this. He still thinks he is running a corrupt business or a reality TV show. He has always whined, bullied, blamed or maybe bribed other people to get out trouble. The presidency has too much visibility for those methods to work well. Of course, he is too rigid, stupid, or narcissistic to adapt.
