Trump calls raid on his lawyer 'an attack on our country'

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump slammed the FBI raid on his personal attorney Michael Cohen's office and hotel room as a "disgraceful situation" and "an attack on our country."

"I just heard that they broke into the office of one of my personal attorneys. Good man. And it's a disgraceful situation. It's a total witch hunt," Trump said Monday, referring to a lawful FBI raid.

"It's an attack on our country," Trump said. "It's an attack on what we all stand for."

The President also criticized Attorney General Jeff Sessions for recusing himself from the special counsel investigation, saying, "the attorney general made a terrible mistake."

You're spot-on that Trump's utterances are Fascistic. He wants total control.

One minor quibble about your post. I've heard it said that President Kennedy's famous quote, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country," has Fascist undertones. That citizens should put their country first has troubling parallels in "My country, right or wrong." Clearly, that's not what President Kennedy meant but it's in that circle of the Venn Diagram.

I came of age when President Kennedy was assassinated and idolized him so I'm not suggesting he was a Fascist. It's his quote that I find intriguing. (Here's another, unrelated Kennedy quote I heard today: "I'm not really that interested in space." He apparently said that the an early group of NASA administrators.)

As far as Trump goes, he's a wannabe strongman but he's a coward so he'll never be able to pull it off.

As to that comment about space, who knows what was on his plate at the time, what nightmare on earth he was dealing with, so the comment is understandable.

I wont be silent when ANY criticism is leveled at the Kennedy's right now because the KGB and right are starting a war against them for obvious reasons.

It has nothing to do with unconditional belief in someone right or wrong, it is about stopping the coming landslide of criticisms of the Kennedy family because Joe Kennedy is gaining popularity, this attack will be the same as what Hillary deals with for the same reasons.
