Today Trump sounds like a cognitively challenged Nixon

I was to young to remember Nixon. But from the news clips I’ve seen his response to the raids today seems reminiscent of Nixon even though he’s rambling a bunch of nonsense.

(Also, you might want to find a less offensive word than "retarded." ) Nixon never jumped the rails like that in public, although there are reports that he got pretty buggy late at night after he'd had too much to drink. For the most part Nixon was pretty controlled in his public statements, but he did occasionally speak indignantly about "witch hunts." Even so, Nixon was a paradigm of sanity compared to Spanky.
