(1,089 posts)nobody legitimate wants to represent Stupid, which is why you wind up with a schlock like this clown, "Says Who?" as his attorney, is because Stupid has the worst quality you can find in stupid people - he thinks he's really, really smart. He can do what no man has ever done before, because he's Admiral Stupid. He can mess with the FBI, the IC community overall. I mean, what could they possibly do in response?
He doesn't listen to anybody for long, because he's so freaking smart.

(24,412 posts)who's to say that *somebody* didn't? Of course, it's not like Trump is surrounded by a "stable of stable geniuses" himself. If anybody would have said anything, it should have been somebody like Jeff Sessions, but then again he was stupid enough to get involved with backing Trump in the first place, so................And it's not like Trump wouldn't just "be Trump" and do what he wants. Firing Comey was a dumb move, especially for the reasons given. Outright attacking the FBI and accusing them of a "witch hunt" against him and encouraging his followers and sycophants to go to war with the FBI was even dumber.

(5,210 posts)I'm pretty sure it was during the transition Trump was badmouthing the Intel community something fierce and Schumer was on one of the MSNBC shows being interviewed and he offered adamant and energetic advice to Trump that he did NOT want the IC on his bad side. His sentiment (tho not his exact words) were that they can really F you up. He laughed a bit.

(38,427 posts)He is a bully, was a bully and always will be one. He will push around anyone he can. Then, as he just did, after being warned,. told what not to do he does it anyway..in spite of warnings...and then..
he switches to the "victim" We just heard him... ..It is a "witch hunt" implying that he did nothing wrong..Not Trump. ..and soon he will say..he never has done..." anything wrong". That is soon. No collusion, no lying, no nothing...
