FBI may have raided the home also. There could be a storage locker too. Trump did appoint the Southern NY Federal district DOJ official who would be involved in warrants, indicating this must be a very serious criminal matter in order for such an unusual raid to be approved and apparently Rod Rosenstein had to sign off on the raid.

Ok, looks like I was partly thrown by your subject line about "AG", since Schniederman's investigations aren't subject to a Trump pardon. But the current raid involves the US Attorney, not NYS AG.
