Former FBI Dep Director on MSNBC: Its really hard to get probable cause to raid an att. office

So what the hell did you do Cohen?

Former FBI Dep Director on MSNBC:

“It’s really hard to get probable cause to raid an attorney’s offices...”

Ohhhh, Mike. What did you do, bad boy?

A White House official says President Trump has been watching TV reports of the FBI raiding the office of Michael Cohen, his longtime lawyer and confidant. (from @jeffzeleny )

paying taxes.....the link between Cohen and Trump are years of payoffs, problably blackmail and money laundering with sweetheart deals combined with most likely misuse of campaign money for payoffs. The FBI doesn't conduct this level of raid not knowing what they are looking for.

I suspect some serious trump blathering and actions over the next few days when it sinks in he may be on the way out so we will see a cornered desperate unhitched animal lashing out.

aint going to be pretty for america

this is not a movie. Most Criminals are not that smart and the comment was along this line. The Gentleman mentioned hiding assets from a Bankruptcy, false Real Estate Appraisals used for Bank Loans,he knows the real answer and this just is a slip.

Obviously they have indications of some serious shit. Cohen has his own real estate empire, apparently, with all of the appropriate Russians ties you seem to need in order to work in Trump's orbit.

Because I was not a subject/target (they actually got hold of an advice letter I wrote that told the client not to do what he ended up doing) I was told that they could subpoena my legal files, but that they had to get the Attorney General's sign-off first. That requirement came about because of abuses under RICO by prosecutors. There was a plea before Holder could sign off on it, so I never heard back.

I assume that since Session is recused, Rosenstein probably signed off.

Someone is getting fired in the next 48 hours, I suspect, either Sessions, Rosenstein or Mueller. This has got to be way to close to Trump for his comfort, and he has only a rag-tag legal team advising him at this point.

He would have to threaten to fire Sessions unless Sessions fires Rosentein if Rosenstein doesn't fire Mueller. I expect Mueller is well aware of potential scenarios at this point. I don't know if anyone short of his children, would be able to talk him down from this ledge.
