(56,828 posts)I was just about to post that - for sale for $1 million, bought at the bargain basement price of $10,000,000.

(10,749 posts)1. How many condos are there in TT?
2. How many are for sale, on average, on any given day?
3. And were any of the 21 you mention put on the market after the fire?
4. How many of the condos are actually lived in, and how many are money-laundered and vacant?

(63,221 posts)It looks dated and not well kept up. And now that we know that the building is a fire trap and a possible security risk since it is the home of the "president" (and probably dozens of other unsavory characters), who would want to take the risk of investing in such a property. Besides it is tourist central.

(4,787 posts)20 of the 21 units currently available were put up for sale between 2/17 and 4/3/18.
The 11 currently available rentals were put up for rent between 3/17 and 4/2/18.
There were also 8 units sold in 2017-2018, most of which took double-digit haircuts on the initial asking price. The building has 238 condo units; between 2003-2018, there have been 157 sales/purchases, so the 8 recent sales weren't extraordinary.
It's hard to imagine most people wanting to live with the Secret Service eye-balling them day-in, day-out.
