Don't Understand Why So Many Evil People Continue To Succeed. We Are Awash In Miscreants.

It just seems that so many evil people continue to thrive and succeeds for a long period of time. Some of these terrible politicians seem to remain in good health even into their 90's and sometimes beyond. They are around a long time to do damage to society and those around them.

Then you look at all the promising young leaders who vanish long before their time. And we know who they are for the most parts. The Adhesions, Kochs, McConnells, Frists, the De Vos, et al must have some kind of lucky charms. They get into power and stay their almost forever.

We have always had a lot of bad souls and politicians over time. But we seem to be awash in them. And they get elected then re elected over an over again even after their evil deeds are wide open.

Hopefully in November we can rectify a good part of it all. WE cannot survive as a country with all these bad characters in key public positions. Sadly there are a number of them running again.

If you are willing to lie, cheat and steal and aren't a POC, this is the country from which to profit.

Contracts. Meetings with industry captains in the Oval Office. I could go on and on. I was sorry he got a new heart. He should have been gone long ago. Koch’s will live forever too. Money can afford the best healthcare.

People were throwing their copies of Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper on the parlor floor and shouting in disgust, "how did we end up with that bum Grant?"

Who promise wealth and success.
If you’re an honest person you can only promise what you think will actually happen.
People prefer hearing the dishonest fairy stories so they continually follow and support the Con men.

If being in the public eye and thriving on ego and self-aggrandizement for many years is success, then these are lucky people indeed. Even if they may be eaten up with greed, lust and selfishness though?

I see success as living a life in serenity, with true friends and loving family, without a need to prove that I am better, richer or smarter than anyone else.

The problem is bigger than just these people on the top. It is all the people who support their ideas because they want more and better things and live in fear that somebody will get what they want or take away what they have. So they vote for xenophobia, racism and war. They vote out of fear and greed and they are easy to exploit.

I believe the change will have to come in our home, our schools and our churches. A society is as sick and the collective health of the whole.

"It doesn't affect me."
"That's their problem, I have enough problems."
"I'm not comfortable standing up like that."
"Just let me do my own thing, and you do yours."
"What if standing up against them hurts me or my loved ones? I worked so hard to get where I am..."
"That's just scary..."
"They're only in trouble because they're (lazy, made poor choices, irresponsible) and they need to grow up and take responsibility for their actions like I do..."

And this is why evil succeeds.

I guess when you have the best health care money can buy, and obscene amounts of it, this is the end result.
