The show brought it all together in all one place. It was great how they compared and contrasted Mueller with Trump while not talking about the shitgibbon much at all.
It made me realize that I could never work for Mueller, though I'm glad for him and others in the FBI. It's hard enough for me to drag my ass in to work at 7 am, let alone 5:30, and work late into the night. The Law of Diminishing Returns kicks in for me with a vengeance.

(12,851 posts)My wifes recorded it for me mueller is what I thought all along. A man that understands duty honor country. Born of I guess privelege but felt compelled to give back to the republic. And trump born to privilege just has no morals.

(7,220 posts)I think it's important that the show was done though.
For one thing, it shows in STARK contrast the differences between Mueller and Trump. They hardly mentioned Trump at all, but you can't help but notice how polar opposite they are. Mueller is quiet and humble, fearless, and volunteered to be in the Marines. Got a bronze star and purple heart for getting shot, while Cadet Bonespurs was on his 5th deferment. Gave up high-paying jobs to work in public service, repeatedly. And overhauled the FBI's cyber-crime unit. Is the first one in to the office and the last one to leave. Humble. Values personal responsibility and ethics above all else. It was the most uplifting program I've seen in a long time.

(11,443 posts)Most of us here know the history of Mueller, but I would bet 90% of the adult population know zero about him. Most of the brainwashed 30% Trump worshiping crowd think he is some deep state evil liberal out to destroy Trump.

(111,098 posts)Simply because Trump and his sycophants are trying to destroy his character. People need to understand what is at stake.

(20,581 posts)reminder of decency. What amazed me was when 9/11 happened he had been FBI director for a week. The FBI's technology then was about zero and it turned out that Mueller had been working with computers since they came out. They had to quickly get up to date and how lucky that someone versed in the technology was head of the agency.
Also - one gets the idea he has the best people working for him now. At the FBI he appeared to not suffer fools gladly.
