Retired general humiliates Ivanka after she displays total ignorance of federal child health program

On Monday, Ret. Gen. Mark Hertling humiliated first daughter Ivanka Trump after she showed ignorance of federal child nutrition and fitness programs that her own father has short changed.

Ivanka Trump on late Sunday sent out a tweet saying that the United States needs to do a better job of promoting physical activity among American children or else risk raising a generation of unhealthy kids.

IVANKA:

“We need to promote healthy lifestyles for America’s youth,” the first daughter wrote. “In a recent survey, 9.5 million U.S. children reported that they did NOT once participate in any of over 100 sports or activities listed.”

Hertling, who served for 37 years in the U.S. Army before retiring in 2012, proceeded to school Ivanka about ways she could easily help promote child fitness just by having her father do his job and appoint people to important positions within his administration.

HERTLING:
“Ummm… there’s this thing called the President’s Council on Fitness, Sport, and Nutrition,” he wrote. “Been around 60 years. Used to have 25 appointees… I was one of them. Michelle Obama helped and generated momentum in this area. No one is on the Council now."

As the famous quote goes, “It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.” And, Ivanka, please take your crooked husband back to NYC with you. No one wants to hear anything from or about either of you again, unless it’s about a criminal indictment.

Trump does this all the time: comes up with a "great idea" and is too stupid and narcissistic to consider the GMTA principle: many great ideas have already been thought of. A little Googling (or historical research) is all it takes to prevent that mistake.

He thinks he coined the phrase “prime the pump,” which has in fact been used in economics since 1932, with the creation of President Herbert Hoover's Reconstruction Finance Corporation, and, according to, Merriam Webster, has existed since the early 1800s.
Trump: It is O.K., because it won’t increase it for long. You may have two years where you’ll . . . you understand the expression “prime the pump”?

The Economist: Yes.

Trump: We have to prime the pump.

The Economist: It’s very Keynesian.

Trump: We’re the highest-taxed nation in the world. Have you heard that expression before, for this particular type of an event?

The Economist: Priming the pump?

Trump: Yeah, have you heard it?

The Economist: Yes.

Trump: Have you heard that expression used before? Because I haven’t heard it. I mean, I just . . . I came up with it a couple of days ago, and I thought it was good. It’s what you have to do.

The Economist: It’s . . .

Trump: Yeah, what you have to do is you have to put something in before you can get something out.

Many people here, mostly jokingly, said someone should consider submitting the exact text of the ACA to Trump, but label it "TrumpCare" so that he'd be quite proud of it and support it. In hindsight, that totally might have worked.

She's keeping her collagen-enriched lips pretty damn tightly squinched while right-winger republican attack dogs go after the surviving teens of the Parkland gun freakout massacre of more of America's children. Whimp out. Or was she ever really sincere to begin with?

Ivanka and Melania: You can't claim to be a hero-champions for something or other and then dodge the action, the way your dainty-handed republican man - Comrade Casino - dodged the draft five frikken times in a row.

That's not called leadership, or courage or heroism. It's called FAIL.

Of course, what I remember is all of the rube snowflakes out there screaming about how Michelle Obama personally went from school to school and forced vegetables down the throats of kids. Then, she MADE THEM EXERCISE! ICK!

Didn't dumbshit Sarah Palin 'respond' to this by showing up at some school with cookies? Probably had meth in them.

Yeah, Kremlin Barbie - it's been a totally overlooked issue. If you're a moron.

I might dislike her the most out of that brood. The orange baboon and the "dumb as rocks" 2 sons are so dumb that they can't even begin to hide how dumb they are. They are just straight up clowns. They might be a bit more genuine as in genuine clowns.

This daughter though....she has this air about her where I think she actually sees herself as being really smart and worse, successful due to her own hard work. She insults me every time she appears any where or says anything and double when its in an "official" capacity.

Can't. Stand. Her.

And, not knowing dadtrump has nobody on the Council? Unforgivable vacuous tweet.
