I would think they could write an algorithm to predict the next mass shooting. Sure, that would be an incredible breach of privacy that would make 1984 seem quaint, but we're not far from that anyway, and it doesn't look like anyone's about to delete it.

(6,115 posts)This is the best article in layman's terms I've seen describing just how much data is out there on each of us. I strongly urge each DUer to read this full article and to share it widely. There are implications everywhere, good and bad.
