Mostly it was Screnock's views on taking bribes...I mean "campaign contributions" from parties to lawsuits that really hurt him.

If we have reached a place where the NRA is poison instead of boon. That will mean politicians all over the country (not ALL of them, but lots and lots and lots) will eventually pass sensible gun control legislation.
