(4,407 posts)Trump knows a republican Drumming in November would make him look bad. Expect most his efforts between now and November to be mostly about that.

The bullshit must be getting deep.
Edit: Please disregard. I read it incorrectly.

(15,805 posts)Trump is so desperate for praise that he has to bus in worshippers at remote locations, and mind you, these aren't even top tier ass-kissers, just some unknown dupes culled from the herd to entertain Trump.
Trump is wasting about 5 hours to hear 3 little companies butter him up and listen to 3 wretched cult families tell him how special he is. (gag)
I am greatly relieved that Trump can fly off on a lark and there's nothing else in the country that needs tending to by the president, and no other global crisis that deserves his attention.

(17,500 posts)His tending of things is something to be avoided.
CNN said they were monitoring his remarks and they would let us know IF he said anything of importance. It seemed to be implied that he wouldn't. I was amused.

(5,480 posts)Another mutual masturbation session, where all in attendance praise the Dear Leader for all that he has done for them, ignoring the rest of the people whose lives have been shattered.
A *real* roundtable discussion would have include those that were hurt by these policies as well as the few he found that will praise him.
