Something to Smile About: Things go from bad to worse for Milo Yiannopoulos

.

Want to buy one of the shirts from Milo Yiannopoulos’ store? How about a sweatshirt? Or a comic book portraying Yiannopoulos as some kind of bizarre Batman spin-off?

Tough luck. As ThinkProgress found on Thursday, all of the material on Yiannopoulos’ “Dangerous” online store seems out of stock.

Of the approximately 80 different items you can purchase on the site, only three remain available: Yiannopoulos-branded coffee, a single shirt, and a copy of his forthcoming book (which he has been forced to self-publish). The remaining 90 percent of the store’s items are listed as “out of stock,” including mugs, other books, and even a bright pink belt buckle.

The new store’s apparent collapse also follows on the heels of an NBC report that there’s almost no information available about a supposed college scholarship fund Yiannopoulos created for young white men.

And a really popular one that has just the top half of a skull on it.

I saw it for the first time and asked why the kid was drinking something which, apparently, would leave them dead.

"It's a cool picture. Never thought of it that way."

I'd have thought it horrible advertising.

Horrible advertising is advertising that doesn't work. The two drinks with skulls, the advertising worked. You can't know these things a priori. Most of the time.

Yiannaopoulos did not answer NBC’s questions on the matter, instead texting a statement blaming “retards” for his downfall.

I guess he is going to have to go on the "violent provocateurs" circuit with Ann Coulter again and cause "free speech" protests/violence at Berkeley.

Then you just renew it. The originals used to be good forever. I think around 911 they added expiration dates. There didn't seem to be any investigation for grounds not to renew.

On edit: One time as we were returning from overseas immigration stopped her because her Green Card had expired. They just said to get it renewed. No problem.
