I felt kinda sad that I missed my D.U. Anniversary

This past week. Although I was never a big poster I have been a member here for 13 years and very few day’s had I not signed in and read. It’s incredible to read how we all endured what we thought would be the worst presidential years ever...GWB. Then a Trump another a huge wrecking ball. I find relief in knowing unlike Bush he won’t see a second term! Oh the things I have read and learned in 13 years are insurmountable. Some very great people posting here and contributing nearly daily! Thank you D.U. for giving me everything from advice on my cat who reversed diabetes some years ago to helping me cope many days with the current condition of our country. Many times refuge can be found from fellow D.U.ers who truly care. Thanks for sharing 13 years of your opinions and news pieces. I think all of us are here to find common ground for the betterment of all! I know I have been. Still here after 13 years.

16 years here, but when DU came out from "underground," it evolved away from me. I don't fit well anymore and am more likely to piss off the current crowd than not, so I stop in a few times a month to see how far the shark jump has traveled, and where it has currently landed.
